 Switching of ports or checking the status of the ports.
What are your major accomplishments based from the Proposed Activities in your Training Schedule
Form? Provide a detailed description of the tasks involved in the accomplishment.
PROPOSED ACTIVITY/IES ACCOMPLISHMENTS
 Create a program using Power  Our team successfully completed a project
Automate that will enlist the record of using Power Automate to create a
the specific tech items into the customer database. By automating
MainApp. workflows for collecting and processing
 The storage should be clean as data, we were able to streamline the
possible, so we are asked to organize process and complete the project faster
it. than anticipated. Power Automate also
allowed us to monitor the project's
progress in real-time, ensuring accuracy
and reducing the risk of errors. Overall,
using Power Automate was a significant
factor in the successful completion of the
project.
What problems have you encountered this week?
 The PC is still defective.

How did you overcome or solve those problems?
 Maintaining a PC inventory involves checking the warranty status and either rejoining to the
domain or reimaging. Checking the warranty ensures timely repairs or replacement parts
from Lenovo. If a PC is no longer under warranty, it should be tagged as retired. Rejoining
to the domain or reimaging ensures that the PC is properly configured for our organization's
needs. These tasks are essential to maintaining an accurate inventory and ensuring that all
PCs are in good working condition. By prioritizing these tasks, we can minimize downtime,
reduce repair costs, and improve our overall efficiency
List one or two goals you have set for yourself next week.
 One of my goals for next week is to learn how to track tech items by listing them on our

inventory of our tech items. Listing them on the MainApp will allow us to track their usage,
monitor maintenance schedules, and ensure that we have enough supplies on hand.
Another goal is to attend a webinar on the latest industry trends. Staying up-to-date with
current trends is vital in our ever-changing tech landscape, and attending this webinar will
help me stay informed and bring new insights to our team. By setting these goals, I hope to
improve our company's efficiency and effectiveness

2ND SEMESTER 2022-2023
NARRATIVE ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT

I am pleased to present this report summarizing my accomplishments for the

past month while being assigned to the GTI Department. During this time, I have been
able to learn new skills and contribute to the team's success.

As part of the GTI Department, I have been responsible for assisting agents
with their desktop issues. This involved troubleshooting and resolving problems
related to hardware and software. I also learned how to replace items such as
keyboards and mice when necessary. Through my efforts, I have been able to improve
the productivity and satisfaction of the agents I support.

Additionally, I learned how to reimage desktops, which involves reinstalling the

operating system and applications. This skill has been invaluable in speeding up the
resolution of complex issues and minimizing the time agents are without their
computers. Furthermore, I learned how to install essential tools required by specific
agents, such as VPN and remote access software. These tools have enabled the
agents to work more effectively and efficiently from their homes or remote locations.

During this month, I have been able to collaborate effectively with my

colleagues in the GTI Department. We worked together to address more complex
issues, and I was able to learn from their experiences and knowledge. I also shared
my learnings with them, which helped us to improve our collective skills and
performance.

In conclusion, I am proud of the progress I have made during this month in the
GTI Department. I have been able to contribute to the team's success through my
hard work and dedication to learning new skills. I am grateful for the recognition
received from my supervisor and colleagues and motivated to continue performing at
a high level. I look forward to further developing my skills and making even greater
contributions to the team in the future.

BSIT PRACTICUM WRITTEN REPORT
2ND SEMESTER 2022-2023
ASSESSMENT OF PRACTICUM PROGRAM

During my internship at Sutherland, I had the opportunity to work in the Global

Technology and Infrastructure (GTI) department, which focused on providing desktop
support to clients. As an intern, I was able to gain valuable insights into the inner
workings of a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company and observe firsthand
the challenges faced by technical support teams in a fast-paced environment. In this
paper, I will reflect on my experiences working in the GTI department and discuss my
personal observations and insights about the importance of effective communication,
teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a desktop support role.

Working in the GTI department of Sutherland during my internship was a truly

eye-opening experience. As a desktop support intern, I was responsible for assisting
clients with various technical issues, ranging from basic software troubleshooting to
more complex hardware repairs. Throughout my internship, I had the opportunity to
work alongside experienced engineers and gain valuable insights into the field of
technical support.

One of the most memorable aspects of my internship was the bond I formed
with the engineers on my team. During every shift, we would spend time bonding and
sharing knowledge with one another. They taught me important skills such as how to
navigate the company's internal systems and processes, and how to effectively
communicate with clients who were experiencing technical issues. Through these
interactions, I was able to develop a deeper understanding of the importance of
teamwork and collaboration in a desktop support role.

Moreover, I also gained experience working with people from different

backgrounds and skill levels. My colleagues in the GTI department came from various
parts of the world and had diverse technical backgrounds. It was fascinating to
observe how they approached different technical problems and to learn from their
unique perspectives. I also found that effective communication was key to building
relationships with both colleagues and clients. Through my interactions with clients, I
realized the importance of active listening and clear communication in ensuring that
their issues were properly resolved.

BSIT PRACTICUM WRITTEN REPORT
2ND SEMESTER 2022-2023
Overall, my experience in the GTI department at Sutherland was a valuable
learning experience that allowed me to develop practical skills and gain insights into
the world of technical support. The opportunity to work with experienced engineers
and build relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds was truly rewarding
and will undoubtedly be applicable in my future career endeavors

As an intern in the GTI department at Sutherland, I learned several valuable

lessons that I can share with those interested in taking an internship at the company.
Firstly, it is essential to be open to learning new skills and techniques to effectively
troubleshoot and solve problems in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Secondly,
developing strong communication skills is key to building relationships with colleagues
and clients. Active listening, relevant questioning, and clear explanations are
essential. Thirdly, attention to detail is critical in a technical support role, as accurate
diagnoses and adherence to company procedures ensure that technical issues are
resolved correctly. Fourthly, teamwork and collaboration are essential for resolving
technical issues promptly and efficiently. Finally, taking advantage of opportunities to
learn from experienced engineers provides valuable skills and unique perspectives.

My internship provided me with practical skills and knowledge that will be

applicable in my future career endeavors. I encourage future interns at Sutherland to
embrace these lessons, be open to learning, develop strong communication skills, pay
attention to detail, be a team player, and take advantage of opportunities to learn from
experienced engineers.
