Refer to "18. PASSWORDS" as for details of input of the password.
WARNING
The setting for the acceleration rate (increase/decrease) for each axis, will vary
according to chuck weight and product weight.
Settings which cause extreme deflection of the arm may lead to mechanical breakdown
and shorten the life of the driving parts. Therefore, extreme setting values should be
avoided.
The acceleration rate uses an alphabet display and "A" represents the
highest acceleration and "Z" the lowest.
Sets the various action point path values for starting advance from arm descent midway, arm
ascent from return midway and arm descent from the product release position to traverse
midway, and traverse return during arm ascent midway from the position release position. (In
units of mm.)
POINT
The pass action starting position is set with a distance parameter, but it is executed within
the range of 0 to 90% of the operating distance. Furthermore, the range to be executed
changes in proportion to the operation speed. For this Pass action, set the following
parameters to 0.00 second: Product side extract descent - T1, Product side return - T5,
Runner extract descent - T37 and Runner side return - T40.
When the data change prohibition is set, the point pass setting cannot be changed. Refer to

POINT
Before starting automatic operations, always check mode settings, axis position settings
and timer settings.
The setting data (operation condition settings) such as the set value of the operation point of
each axis and mode settings can be written in the compactflash and read out.
Up to 999 patterns (for 999 types of molds) can be stored and the unloader setting data is read
by specifying the registered data number suitable for the mold. For new setup, data is written
(registered) to the compactflash upon necessity when revising or changing the stored condition
setting.
CAUTION
After the mold or setup condition has been changed, always check the operation
points of each axis as well as the mode setting.
Ensure that chapter [2-5. Handling CompactFlash] is read thoroughly prior to use
for details on precautions when handling CompactFlash and details on inserting and
ejecting the disks.
POINT
The setup conditions can be registered,
compared and erased during automatic
operation (with the selector switch set to

Safety Precautions
Do not operate the unit when power-related safety covers or parts thereof have been
removed, or when the high voltage terminals are exposed.
Do not remove or alter the positions of the limit switched, dogs or interlock
mechanisms.
Strictly observe the following restriction when operating the unloader.
Always stop the unloader using the correct procedure before performing these
operations.
Do not adjust the machinery or parts while the unloader is in operation.
Do not attempt to pick up dropped products or clean the unloader while it is
operating.
Always stop the unloader and check that automatic operation has stopped before
removing packaged products.
Check that there are no people or obstruction within the moving zone of the unloader
before starting operations.
If the unloader stops for any reason during operation, or has been stopped for any
reason, always clarify the cause and take appropriate measures to clear the cause.
Never restart operation until the cause has been identified and corrective measures
have been taken. Restarting operation when the cause has not been identified is
extremely dangerous.
Do not touch the switches or keys with wet or soiled hands.
This can result in mis-operation of the unloader.
Do not operate the unit while service tools or measuring tools are lying on the
operation box.
Make sure you do not touch the switches unintentionally. Also, never lean on the
machine.
If a program has been changed, thoroughly check that the data is correct before
starting automatic operation and only start operation after checking all the operations
using manual operation mode.
If you become aware of even a slight abnormality during operation, immediately
stop the unloader and consult the supervisor.
If the unloader has not been used for a long period of time, clean and lubricate
(grease) all contact surfaces (LM guide), then operate the unit for about 30 minutes.
Also if a backup battery error alarm message is displayed on the screen after the
power is turned on, replace the backup battery on the main P. C. board.
For the absolute encoder specifications, batteries are also used for the servo drivers.
If the alarm message is displayed on the screen similarly, replace the backup
batteries mounted in the servo driver for each axis.
Sets up and resets the figures for the counters used for the number of products extracted and
during option operations.
POINT
The counter's display is memorized, even if the power is turned off. Before automatic
or manual operation, check the counter's display and reset it if necessary.
The counter can be reset both in the manual operation <MANU> and in the automatic
operation <AUTO>.
