Ask: What can you say about the illustration?

Tell: They are all sources oh heat energy.

TOPIC:
Heat Energy Transformation

Lesson objectives:
1. explain how heat energy can be transformed;
2. give the importance of heat in everyday life; and
3. demonstrate how heat can be transformed.
C. Pag-uugnay sa mga What is heat energy?
halimbawa sa bagong aralin -it is an energy in transit (transferred from one body to another).
Presenting examples/instances -Heat is a form of energy.
of new lesson
Heat Energy is also called Thermal Energy

Heat Energy -
Is Heat Energy important?

Importance of Heat Energy

1. To cook food.
2. Dry and disinfect clothes.
3. Warming up our body
(Health - advocates environmental protection through proper waste
management - H6CMH-IIij-9)
D. Pagtalakay ng bagong Movement of Particles
konsepto at paglalahad ng
bagong kasanayan #1
Discussing new concepts and
practicing new skills #1

What can you say about their movement?

A higher average energy from the movement of particle also means higher temperature and
vice versa.

Thus heat enery can be created through vibration of molecules inside those substances.
The faster they move, the more heat they reproduced, and the hotter they become.
E. Pagtalakay ng bagong
konsepto at paglalahad ng
bagong kasanayan #2
Discussing new concepts and
practicing new skills #2
Heat energy is a form of energy that transfer from higher temperature to lower
temperature.
F. Paglinang sa Kabihasaan Heat energy transfers into three ways: conduction, convection, and radiation.
Developing Mastery (Leads to
Formative Test)
G. Paglalapat ng aralin sa Make a simple illustration showing how heat energy is transformed
pang-araw-araw ng buhay into another form. Explain your illustration.

abstractions about the lesson
I. Pagtataya ng Aralin Write TRUE if the statement is correct or FALSE if it is not. Write your
Evaluating Learning answers on a separate sheet of paper.
1. Heat is produced by moving molecules.
2. Thermal energy is also called heat energy.
3. Heat cannot be transformed into other forms of energy.
4. Heat can be transferred when there is a change in temperature.
5. Heat is transferred through conduction, convection, and radiation.
J. Karagdagang gawain para sa Complete the paragraph by filling in the blanks with appropriate
takdang aralin terms. Write your answers on a separate sheet of paper.
Additional activities for
application or recomendation The movement of tiny particles is called (1) __________energy. It moves
from an object of (2)______________ to lower temperature. A/an (3)__________
engine transforms heat to mechanical energy when (4) _____________engines
