ISF 2023 ON THE SPOT PROJECT Guidelines Entry Form
1. Each school can send one team consisting of 4 students from different classes.
2. The schools which do not have senior classes can include a maximum of two students
from a class.
3. Materials for the project will be provided by the Indian Science Forum.
4. Kits containing the same set of materials will be provided to all teams.
5. Each participating team will get separate room at School. Participants have the liberty to
prepare any one science project that involves a scientific principle using only the materials
provided.
6. Participants are not allowed to use mobile phones or any such communication devices
during the project or during the preparation of digital presentation.
7. Each stage of the development of the project should be video graphed/ photographed
by the team members to record the progress of the project work. At the end of the
stipulated duration of 3 hours, the team will get 30 minutes to prepare a digital
presentation of the project.
8. The presentation should be for a maximum of 10 minutes duration.
9. The project exhibit and the presentation will be assessed by a panel of judges.
10. Evaluation Criteria:
a) Innovation and creativity : 10 marks
b) Scientific relevance : 10 marks
c) Effective utilization of given materials : 10 marks
d) Effectiveness of presentation : 10 marks
e) Team work : 10 marks
Total : 50 marks
11. Dress code for the participants: Smart Casual/Normal.
12. Identity of the school should not be disclosed by the participants.
13. Entry forms should be mailed to sciencefiesta2023@gmail.com on or before
12th May 2023.
