– Applicant’. It contains all necessary details about portal.

Q.3 How many levels are there in Global BA Certification?

There are 5 levels in Global BA Certification as mentioned below:

• Level 0 (Foundation)
• Level 1 (Practitioner)
• Level 2 (Advanced)
• Level 3 (Chief)
• Level 4 (Master)

Q.4 Is it mandatory to start certification with level 0 and then level 1 and so on?
It is not mandatory to start certification with level 0. You can directly go for level 1 or level 2
certification.

Q.5 How can I decide about which level is most suitable for me?
Suitable level can be decided based on your grade and skillsets. There is a document
available in the portal with name ‘Certification levels and skills Matrix.pdf’ under ‘Help →
Templates & User Guides → Master Information’. It contains all necessary details about
expected skillsets for all levels. If it is still not clear, then you can take guidance from your
sponsor.
Q.6 What are different steps involved in BA certification process for level 0?
Steps involved in level 0 certification are:

• Candidate fills application: (Personal Information)

• Candidate selects one L1 or higher sponsor
• Candidate passes L0 online exam
• Regional board issues certification based on passed exam & sponsor
recommendation

Q.9 What are different steps involved in BA certification process for level 3?
Steps involved in level 3 certification are:

• Candidate gives presentation to international board
• International board decides based on application & presentation

Q.10 What are different steps involved in BA certification process for level 4?
No formal process is defined yet for level 4. It is in progress and needs to be aligned with top
management.

Q.11 How can I find sponsor?

Sponsor can be found using below steps:

• Go to portal and click ‘Find a Business Analyst’ link from the header
• Apply suitable filter criteria using dropdown
• For level 0 and level 1 certification make sure selected region is ‘Asia Pacific’
• Select sponsor from Search result. Note following important points
o For level 0 certification you need to select one L1 or higher sponsor
o For level 1 certification you need to select one L2/L3 sponsor
o For level 2 certification you need to select two L3 sponsors
o For level 3 certification you need to select two L3/L4 sponsors
• Send email to selected sponsor requesting for his/her willingness to be your sponsor

Q.12 What is the study material for each level?

Study material is available only for level 0 & level 1. You can access it by clicking link. In
addition, independent study is recommended for all levels.

Q.13 What is validity period of BA Certification?

Once you get certified, it is valid for 2 years.
