Indeed, Jose Rizal played a big role to achieved independence among us

Filipinos. That is why we truly value his sacrifices for us to achieve the
freedom that we have right now in our country. In return, Filipinos and
foreigners revered Rizal and paid tribute to him in many ways. There are
numerous memorials have been constructed in his honor as a tribute to his
life and accomplishments. These monuments are frequently erected in the
locations where he spent most of his life living or working. The Rizal
Monument in Manila is the most well-known of them. Every year on the
anniversary of Rizal's passing, many people visit there. His life experience and
ideals are reflected in "Si Rizal at Ako". It also reflects how Filipinos see
themselves in relation to his legacy. As a Filipino itself, I truly appreciate and
very much thankful for our national hero. His mark in history reminds me to
love my country even more.
