To wrap up WES 2022, there was a souvenir exchange ceremony between

all ASEAN countries and the handing over of the WE-AFEO flag to Ir. Sri
Hidayati from Persatuan Ingsinyur Indonesia (PII).
There was also a separate technical visit to Vattanac Capital Building and

CHINT
Morgan Tower organised by WE-AFEO and YE-AFEO on building engineering
design and operation and maintenance. The Vattanac Capital Building, the
SUPERIOR second skyscraper in Cambodia, housed The Vattanac Bank, the Rosewood

Phnom Penh Hotel, serviced apartments, retail space, office space, a sky
bar and a car park. The building was LEED Gold certified and won the Best
Commercial Development (South-East Asia) award at the South-East Asia
Property Awards in Singapore in December 2012. The tallest skyscraper in
Cambodia, Morgan Tower, located on the man-made Koh Pich (diamond)
island, was completed in 2022 and would be used for office space.
The closing remarks and CAFEO-41 flag hand-over to PII took place
at the closing and awards dinner which saw the much-awaited Awards
Presentation, where AFEO members were conferred into their respective
membership grades. Let’s all look forward to CAFEO-41 in Bali, Indonesia.
