I am a Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineer with 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry including natural
gas processing plants’ operations and commissioning. I possess very good technical verbal and written

Pakistan Petroleum Limited - [March 2016 – Current]

Operation Control Room Engineer / Shift In-charge
As the shift in-charge of a gas processing facility with a capacity of 93 MMSCFD of sale gas, 700 BBL of
condensate, and 11 tons of LPG production, I supervised multiple units and systems including Inlet Separation
Unit, Amine Unit, Refrigeration Unit, Hydrocarbon Dewpoint (HCDP) Unit, Honeywell UOP Membrane Unit,
condensate stabilization unit and LPG extraction. The facility also has utility systems such as instrument air
compressors, a fire water network system, and a hot oil and nitrogen network system. My responsibilities
involve ensuring smooth operations, monitoring process parameters, managing personnel, and maintaining
safety standards throughout the facility.
1. Supervised and performed the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and smooth operation of UOP
Honeywell Membrane Unit of 55 MMscfd capacity.
2. Supervised and performed the Pre-commissioning, Commissioning, and smooth operation of condensate
stabilization unit (CSU).
3. Supervise DCS operations to operate, monitor, and control plant process systems, equipment, utilities,
and safety systems and assist boardman to handle plant emergencies / process upsets.
4. To Identify / plan improvement and upgrade of equipment/ systems and procedures to meet future
requirement, safe operation, enhancement of quality and productivity in compliance with national
regulations and company policies.
5. Ensure safe work practices implementation by all disciplines on site and report any deviations/non-
conformities and implement corrective actions.
6. Issue work permits based on web based PTW system (Teamplay) and ensure its compliance in true spirit.
7. Efficiently respond to level – I, II & III emergency scenario and formally report all incidents and near miss
through Process Safety Management tools like Velocity EHS.
8. Perform RCA of process plant upsets/breakdown and suggest corrective actions based on observations.
9. Liaise with support maintenance and shift teams to handle day-to-day operating issues resolution through
SAP notification.
10. Prepare annual OPEX and CAPEX budgets and get approved from Management in budget review
committee.
11. Prepared the documents (SOP, Work Instructions, HIRA, HAZOP, JSA etc.). Conducted safety talk /
sessions with team to ensure the safety) of gas processing unit as a shift Supervisor.
12. Maintain all records & checks as required by internal/ external Audits.
 13. Raised SAP notification for maintenance activities, create the reservations for required material through
the SAP system, used EHS-velocity system for preparation and record keeping of JSA.
14. Initiated MOC on SAP for the modification on Gas Processing plant
15. Used EHS-Velocity for reporting unsafe acts, incidents, and accidents.
16. Conduct the Mock drills and performed internal audits for ensuring safety on plant.
17. Manage the staff and supervised the maintenance activities of plant (Inlet, Amine, Refrigeration unit,
Hydrocarbon dew point control unit, utilities of plant)
DCS Control Engineer
Performed duty on DCS (Yokogawa) as a board man and controlled the process upsets to keep on spec
parameters of sale gas.
1. Safe Startup and Shutdowns of plants as per approved SOPs and efficient Emergency Handling of plant
upsets.
2. Planning and safe execution of Annual Turn Arounds (ATA) as per Management directives
3. Logged all parameters of DCS, reported shift activities, daily production, maintained chemical
consumption record and prepared Monthly Production Reports. Uploading DPR on avocet for online
record keeping and management review.
EWT Facility Site Incharge:
Independently supervised Early Production Facility of retrograde condensate reservoir including below
responsibilities:
1. Vigilantly monitor the whole operation to ensure the uninterrupted supply of gas & condensate from
producing well
2. Supervise the dispatch of produced condensate from EPF and ensure the conformance of product
quality as per sales agreement.
3. Effective implementation of QHSE/ PSM corporate and field specific procedure, near miss reporting for
streamlining the operation & ensure safe working hours of facility.
4. Maintain all records & checks as required by internal/ external Audits.
5. Supervising and providing technical support in Well Intervention Operations.
6. Supervising Surface Well Testing Operations and BHP Surveys.
7. Production monitoring of wells & their performance predictions through IPM Suit. (Petroleum Experts
Software)
