Hydraulic Motor

1.Introduction
Hydraulic motors are rotary or mechanical actuators that operate by converting
hydraulic pressure or fluid energy into torque and angular displacement.
Hydraulic motors are among the most commonly used motors across various
industries. Not only can they generate tremendous amounts of torque, but they
are also rugged and come in compact sizes. These advantages make them ideal
for construction, mining, and agricultural equipment applications.

2.Objective
. To measure the pressure difference of hydraulic motor
in a simple hydraulic circuit.

3.procedures
1. Connect the circuit as shown in figure.
2. Turn on the pump while the dcv is in the normal
position.
3. Switch the dcv to the to the parallel position.
4. Get the reads from the two manometers and the flowmeter.
5. Slightly close the throttle valve.
6. Get the new reads from the two manometers and the flowmeter.
7.Repeat step 5,6 until the flowmeter reading is zero.

4.Readings
5.Graphs and Simulitions (FESTO):

6.Observation and comments:

 We notice the pressure difference on the motor is almost constant, that is
because the pressure difference on the motor depends on the load, so as
the load is constant, the pressure difference will be also constant.
 The motor speed depends only on the flowrate.
