Lifelong Learning Program
(DSLP)
The Digital Security & Lifelong Learning Program (DSLP) is a primary
deliverable under the Global ACE Certification to nurture cybersecurity
professionals in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR). It
establishes a single converging platform for cybersecurity capacity
building and lifelong learning that empowers information security
professionals to share knowledge, expertise, skillsets, exchange views, and
collaborate towards a common digital security goal. By doing this, the
ability to continually identify up-to-date digital threats and mitigation
methods will be comprehended.

The DSLP focuses on the knowledge transfer of essential cybersecurity


components, development approach of indigenous security certification
programs, and the implementation of the Mutual Recognition Arrangement
(MRA). This is to comprehend the cross-border mutual recognition
benefits such as talent mobility, collaborative research, sharing of technical
know-how, sharing of training programs and trainers, and the action plans
in nurturing cybersecurity workforce continuously.

It will also assist participants to formulate effective strategies towards 13 - 16 & 19 - 20 June 2023 (6 days)
building valuable relationships among the community of professionals 1500 - 1900 (GMT +8)
within the region. **Will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Team

Course Objectives
To provide a general understanding about the essential
components of digital security, importance of cybersecurity, and Who Should Participate?

To learn how to prevent general attacks, conduct assessments, ICT professionals and decision makers who are

while anticipating the potential development and operational
challenges whilst ensuring sustainability

The participants will be introduced with an in-depth design of the Global


ACE Certification structure, analysis, methodologies, and the applied skill
sets centering on the above mentioned objectives.
The Malaysian Technical
Cooperation Programme
The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) was officially
launched on 7 September 1980 at the Commonwealth Heads of State
Meeting in New Delhi, India, to signify Malaysia’s commitment to
South-South Cooperation, in particular, the Technical Cooperation among
Developing Countries (TCDC).

The MTCP emphasises the development of human resources through the


provision of training in various areas which is essential for a country’s
development. These areas include diplomacy and diplomatic practices,
economy, good governance, education, tourism, environment, social
development, halal industry, safety and security as well as technology,
among others. As of 31st December 2022, 37,055 participants from 144
recipient countries have benefited from the various programmes offered
under the MTCP.

The course fees are fully sponsored by the Government of
Malaysia.

Day 2 Digital Security Essentials
MTCP application forms can also be obtained from the nearest
Day 3 Data Security Analyst Malaysian Embassy/High Commission in recipient countries.
Day 4 Data Security Analyst (continue)
All applications forms must be duly completed and endorsed by the
Day 5 Data Security Analyst (practical and hands-on) Ministry of Foreign Affairs or National Focal Point incharge of

Additional note: notification one (1) week before the course date, by the Training

Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). The Certified
Information Security Management System Internal Auditor Closing date of application submission: 12 May 2023
is open to all participants via the open web access - MOOC
platform. The participants will be given a link and access it at

Programme
Courses fees:
Prerequisite/ Eligibility All courses fees will be borne by the Government of Malaysia under
the MTCP. The training will be conducted virtually.
26 - 45 years old; General Condition:
At least a Bachelor degree holder in IT; Participants shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner
compatible with their responsibilities as MTCP scholarship holders
At least having a 2 year relevant experience (e.g. system and abide by the rules and regulation as stipulated by the host
administrator, network engineer, SOC analyst).; government with respect to this training course.
