Big New AP Config
Big New AP Config
Big new APs have POE adapters with two ports (P+, and Data) and two Wi-Fi frequency bands;
2.4GHz and 5GHz. For RNTU, we will use the 5 GHz frequency band, so it okay to turn off the 2.4 GHz
transmitter. The AP is connected to P+ port of the adapter and data/in port is connected to the
network (switch or PC). Its default IP is 192.168.1.1 and its password is password. The IP and
password are also pasted on the AP.
There is a small hole at the bottom of the AP where you can press for about 20s to reset the device.
