The Main View shows the current status of the Como Neo

The upper bar shows current number of cycles – total good and bad parts –
good and bad parts of the last cycle (1.)

Also you see here if you are in production mode or in setup mode (2.)

By clicking on (3.) you can log in

The different tiles (4.) give you an overview about the current status of your
production history (upper row) and the last cycle (lower row)
By clicking on one of the tiles you can open directly the corresponding
menu .

4
To log in enter user and password.

You must be logged in to change the settings.

Additionally the Como Neo needs to be in the setup mode to change settings.

You can change the Setup / Production mode in the Analysis menu.

5
In the Analysis menu you can start a new history (new recording) and delete
old ones (1.).

Please note the old histories can only be reload on a computer with the Como
Data Center Software(fee based).

To change from the setup mode to production mode you need to start a new
production (2.)

Bottles are also evaluated and sorted (rejected) in the setup mode as long as
the option „Enable sorting in setup mode“ in the Device – Device Policies -
Menu is enabled (see description about Device – Device Policies)

The next two slides explain how to start a new production

6
Enter the name of the new production

7
Instead of entering a batch size choose unlimited batch (1.) and click on start
production.

8
In the Monitoring – EO Monitoring – Menu you can check the settings of your
Evaluation Objects (EO). For the AKU inspection there are two different EOs
which can be selected on (1.).

The „EntryExit“ EO defines a box in which the signal must enter and exit as
shown by the green arrows (5.). The „EntryExit“ EO representents the former
offset test which ensures that signals starts in a pressure range between -5
bar and + 5 bar (sensor is not uptight).

Additionally there is a „Max“ EO which evaluates if the maximum pressure of

the cavaity is within the defined area.

You can modify the EO-Area by drag and drop or by entering pressure and
time limits in (2.)

Sorting (3.) must allways be enabled to reject boottles which do not fulfill the
EO requirements.

Cavities which are evaluated by the EO are marked blue (4.)

9
If you scroll down you can delete the current EO (1.)

You can zoom in diagrams by using either a two finger zoom (like on a
smartphone) or by using the sliders on the diagrams axis.

You can shift all diagrams by dragging them.

10
In the Mould – Test Page – Menu you can start a test measurement

The measurement stops automatically after a defined time.

11
In the Device – General Settings – Menu you can change the Language and
the Date and Time settings

12
In the Device – Connector Settings – Menu you can assign the different
signals to the available in- and outputs.

Please do not change these settings since the PLC program is based on
the In-/Output settings

You can check the settings of a specific connector by clicking on the

connectors symbol (1.) and choose the type of signal (input or output) (2.) you
would like to see.

In this slide you see the standard settings of the Inputs of connector X12.

All other input signals on the connectors X11 – X 14 are unassigned.

13
In this slide you see the standard settings of the Outputs of connector X12.

By clicking on the test button (1.) you can manually set the output for testing
purposes.

The results of the single cavities are assigned to the output signals of X11 and
X14 (shown in the following pages).

The output signals of X13 are unassigned.

14
In this slide you see the standard settings of the Outputs of connector X11.

The different pins are assigned to the sorting signals (bad/good part) of the
different cavities of Mould 1.

15
In this slide you see the standard settings of the Outputs of connector X14.

The different pins are assigned to the sorting signals (bad/good part) of the
different cavities of Mould 2.

16
In the Device – User Management menu it is possible to configure the user
accounts.

17
In the Device – Device Policies menu you can change the general behavior of
the Como Neo.

In the Storage tab (1.) it is possible to acitivate „Stop perisitant recording if

storage is full“.

This avoids that the como neo changes in error state if the storage is full.

The Como Neo still evaluates the pressure signals as with recording.

18
In the Device – Device Policies – Setup Mode tab the setting for the setup
mode can be configured.

It is important that „Enable sorting in setup mode“ is enabled (1.)

All other settings should be configured as shown in the picture.

19
In the Device – Device Policies – Production Mode tab the setting for the setup
mode can be configured.

It is important that the boxes 1., 2. and 3. are activited.

All other settings should be configured as shown in the picture.

20
There are two different kinds of backup for the Como Neo

In the device backup all settings belonging to the device (connection settings,
policies, etc.) are stored.

To save a backup connect a USB-Stick to one of the USB ports of the Como
Neo and click on Export (1.)

To load a saved backup from a USB-Stick click on Import (2.)

21
In the backup of the mould the mould settings as well as the monitoring
settings (EOs) are saved.

To import a mould backup from an USB Stick, connect the USB Stick to one
of the USB ports of the Como Neo an click on Import (1.)

Next click on Load (2.) and select the mould you wish to be active.

You can export all moulds that are available on the Como Neo apart from the
mould that is currently active.

To export the currently active mould you have unload the current mould (3.)

Then click on Export (4.) to save the mould on a connected USB Stick.

22
In case the AKU Mould is disconnected (e.g. if the mould on the AKU is
changed) a warning apears on the Como Neo (1.)

This warning must be acknowledged by an operator or administrator user.

Important: It is important that the connectors on

the Como Neo and on the mould are allways
connected in comlpiance with the circuit
diagramm. The connectors should never be
mixed up.
