1 Position Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to support the Operations Support Lead to drive business efficiency
and to maintain a consistent approach to all administration duties and processes across the Community
and Home Support business unit. This is achieved by ensuring reporting, data processing, data
management, data integrity and all internal administrative activities related to program outputs and
operational support services are maintained and improved.

3 Major Accountability Areas

Compliance Support • Monitor HR generated reports to ensure compliance of NPC’s,
Driver’s Licenses, Stat Dec’s and any other requirements
• Monitor learning reports to ensure all staff meet training
competencies.
• Ensure staff are scheduled for upcoming training and paid for
training completed.
• Monitor RCD’s and ensure staff are using RCD’s in date
• Complete reporting within the required time frame.
Recruitment Support • Support the recruitment of new Support Workers by completing new
user requests, ordering and testing IT equipment and compiling new
starter packs
• Send welcome emails to all new starters outlining training
requirements
• Update new starter information into Procura as required
• Advise of face to face training locations
Administration Support • Complete and monitor ordering of RCD’s, PPE and uniforms
• Maintain archives of all service user information on discharge for all
programs
• Preparation of Contractor Standard Service Agreements
• Provide administrative support to the General Manager – Aged Care
and Disability Services when required.

Reporting Support • Assist Operations Support Lead in completing monthly Program
Occupancy Report for CHSP & HACC, HCP and HCP Portfolio
Splits.
Occupational Safety and • Contributes to a safe working environment for employees,
Health volunteers, contractors and visitors
• Models compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards,
policies, procedures and instructions
• Reports all risks, hazards and incidents
• Consults with employees and their representatives on safety and
health matters

Authority to commit resources of MercyCare in line with the Operational Delegations of Authority.

6 Position Holder Requirements


Formal Qualifications Certificate II in Business or equivalent experience desirable

Skills, knowledge and • Relevant business administration experience in similar industry

• Excellent computer skills with a high level of attention to detail,
including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the internet

• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to use initiative
