Your Desk Phone In The Box Carefully remove your Desk Phone from the box. * Telephone base with handset * 1 xine cord * 1 xhandset cord * 2x AA batteries * Safety & guarantee booklet * Instruction manual If any of these items are missing contact Customer Support at goodmans@bmstores.co.uk Description Of Parts @ M1- Memory 1 @ M2- Memory 2 © LCD display @ Up @ DEL - Delete O Set @ Volume (Lo-Hi) © Numerical Key Pad © HF - Hands Free @® Recall ® Redial @ ou Assembly @ Insert one end of the line cord to the telephone line jack (back of telephone) and the other end to the phone socket. LCD will display month, date, time and year. @ Connect the handset to the side of the telephone with the handset cord. @ If you want to keep on record date, time, call log and direct memory saved when the line cord is disconnected, insert 2 x AA batteries in battery compartment. Unplug telephone line before opening the cover of battery compartment. @ Set the dial mode to PULSE or TONE dialing according to your local network , 85mm Wall Mount The telephone can be used as desktop or mounted onto a wall When using on a wall, push up the vertical hook on the base Place the handset on the cradle with the vertical hook to fit the parking recess under the earpiece on the handset Follow above instruction to drill 2 screws (not included) on the walll to mount the phone. Functions Function Steps Receiving calls, The unit will ring when someone calls. If you have subscribed to caller ID service to your local telecom, the month/date/timelthe incoming call number/icon will be shown on display as ‘NEW’ It you miss the same number two times or more, icon "REP" will be displayed ‘Answer from the handset 1. Pick up the handset and talk to the caller. 2. Return the handset to the base to end the call Switch to hands free 1. When talking via handset, press H.F key and return the handset to the base, The phone will switch to hands free mode When finish the call, press H.F key to return to idle mode. Answer from hands free 1. When the telephone rings, press HF key and talk to the caller in hands free mode. 2. When call has finished, press H.F key to return to idle mode. Making a c 4. Dial back outgoing call ‘At on-hook ar off-hook state Press OUT key to check the desired number. Press REDIAL key, the number will be dialed automatically. Deleting outgoing call During review, the desired number is found. Press DEL key to delete the number. NOTE: Press DEL key for 3 seconds, all outgoing call log will be erased. all function When you dial a number but the line is busy, press RECALL key and then REDIAL key to call again. Setting local area code At on-hook state, press SET key and then press UP key, SET 2 CODE is shown, Press SET key again, LCD displays CODE Press UP key to set the first digit of local area code 4, Press SET key to confirm and enter the second digit setting, follow same steps to set the last 4 digits, 5. Press DEL key to quit. NOTE: Ii the local area code has 4 digits only, please leave the last digit 2 After set the local area code, unit will auto-filter the first few digits from the incoming call number if itis matched with the local areas code set. Setting a dialing tone 1. At on-hook state, press SET key 2. Press UP key four times, LCD displays SET 5 P-T 8. Press SET to confirm, LCD displays TONE or PULSE 4. Press UP key to select PULSE or TONE 5. Press SET to confirm. 6, Press DEL to quit, Setting alarm clock 1. Aton-hook state, press SET key. 2. Press UP key five times, LCD displays SET 6 ALERT 3. Press SET key, LCD displays 1 00-00 OFF and the serial number * flashes, press UP key to select the serial number. Press SET key to go into the alarm time setting 4, Use the UP key to set the alarm time, and px setting. 5. After setting alarm time, the OFF flashes; repeatedly to pre key to select the alarm ON or OFF. 6, Press SET key to confirm. 7. The remaining 2 groups of alarm can be set same as above procedures. NOTE: The alarm clock is available only when the telephone is connected to telephone line. The phone will beep at the alarm time set. It will be terminated when you press any key, 1s SET key to conlirm every item s the UP One touch memory / Storing a number into fone-iouch memory 1. At on-hook state, pre-dial the desired number or review the incoming or outgoing call log for the desired number to store. 2. Press SET key, then press M1 or M2 key to store the number. Make a call from ‘one-touch memory ‘At on/off-hook state, press M1 or M2 key to dial the stored number, Setting the volume here are 2 volume levels — LOW / HIGH for selection.
