II. Event Introduction

Krochet by KOR is a handicraft Business in which yarn is made up into a patterned fabric


by looping yarn with a hooked needle. It is all about the art of Crochet. Krochet by KOR focuses on
certain types of Crochet products which include Tops, Hats, Two- piece, Souvenir, Flowers (it also
comes with a bouquet), Coasters, Bandana, Earings, Keychains and Bags. The best part of this
business is that, all the products are 100% handmade. Colors and designs are customized to
customers' taste and choice.

The business aims to provide the best quality handmade Crocheted products which are
available in a reasonable and affordable price. Krochet by KOR offers to anyone who loves quality
handmade items, handicrafts, gifts. The business owner will contribute her knowledge, skills and
personal funds to run the business and the future plan is to open a studio of Crochet products and be
able to serve worldwide while also sharing the experience of the art of Crochet and progressing to a
higher level.

Krochet by KOR, a handicraft business formed and operated by Maristel Llanes and her
partnership Browyn Jane Galimba. It is located at Barangay Lintic, Banayoyo, Ilocos Sur.

A. The organizers are Maristel Llanes and her business partner Browyn Jane Galimba.

B. Objectives

Krochet by KOR objectives are: to introduce handmade Crochet products in the market, to
strengthen and increase the awareness of customers in Crochet clothes style, to gain potential buyers
and customers and also to become well-known Crochet brand.

C. Brief History

The word Crochet comes from the French word 'croche' meaning hook. The true origins of
Crochet are shrouded in mystery and remain largely undocumented. Some sources suggest that
Crochet originated in Arabia, where it spread along Arab trade routes to other parts of the
Mediterranean. Others claim that Crochet has roots in indigenous South American tribes.

III. Details of Marketing Plan

A. Marketing Objectives
 To increase brand awareness and long-term relationship with our customers

 Increase 15% of our marketing efforts and it should focus on customer retention in next 6 months

 To generate 20% increase in sales in half of the year

 Build 3 branches here in Ilocos Sur

 We want also to build 5-7 branches here in Region 1 within 5 years

 To create anything that is related to Crocheting in which we will provide new offerings to our
customers.

B. Positioning

For everyone who love and want a comfortable clothes. Krochet by KOR can give that and
satisfy you in the fabric yarn that we use. Krochet by KOR can also give you an affordable, fashionista
clothes and palavarn design for OOTD. . Every yarn, every hand doing a Crochet, we give love and
dedication to satisfy you and feel loved.

change it to “K” to represent my Nickname

given by my Uncle who passed away

100% handmade and it is produce from our dedication and
passion to provide crocheted products to our customers.
