The Blood Drinker is a Hardmode broadsword that is dropped by Blood
Zombies and Dripplers during the Blood Moon event after the Wall of Flesh is defeated. Each
successful hit stores a blood essence and up to 10 can be stored at the same time. When swung
using right-click, it releases a stream of blood at the cost of blood essences stored, which
damages enemies and heals allies. The damage and heal amount depend on the amount of
stored blood essence. Allies can be healed up to a maximum of 10 health.
Its best modifier is Legendary.
Notes
 If the Show Donator Item Color configuration option is disabled,
the Blood Drinker will have a rarity of   instead of the
standard  .

 Buffed use time from 21 to 19 and maximum heal
amount from 5 to 10.
 Sprite updated.

 Buffed use time from 23 to 21, damage from 34 to 35,
and nerfed knockback from 6 to 5.
 Changed maximum blood essences from 5 to 10, heal
amount from 1 per essence to 1 per 2 essences and
 projectile damage from 25% + 25% per essence to 20%
per essence.
