SUBJECT: Hydraulic pipes below the PTO

PURPOSE: Increasing the service life of the hydraulic lines

APPLICATION: PC8000/6

FAILURE CODE: 602BCB

DESCRIPTION:

:
x Before carrying out any repairs, read all the safety instructions
in the Operation and Maintenance Manual of your shovel.
x The Parts & Service News AH10509 (latest edition) and local
safety rules must also be observed.

Problem:
Due to vibrations, pipe clamps can be loosened.
Subsequently, by moving the pipes in loose clamps wear of the hydraulic pipes can occur.

Recommendation:
The clamps underneath the PTO should be checked every 1000 h all other clamps every
2000 h.
If a pipe shows wear (greater than one millimeter over the diameter), replace it with a new
one.

Hint:
A design change is in progress.
