Hello!

We are Michał and Nikodem. We can tell you about Warsaw. We can tell you
about seven famous attractions that are located in our capital.

1.POINT ONE
The Royal Łazienki Park is a beautiful palace and garden complex.
It was king Stanisław August’s summer residence in the eighteenth
century. There are four gardens in the Łazienki Park: the Royal, the
Romantic, the Modernist and the Chinese garden. There are also a small
river and a forest with peacocks. On Sundays there are piano concert next
to the Chopin monument. The Warsaw Łazienki Park is a favourite place for
walking and running.

2.POINT TWO
The Royal Castle was the Polish kings' residence. It was built in the fifteenth
century. The building was destroyed in the World War II and rebuilt between
1971 and 1988. It is now a museum.

3.POINT THREE
The Palace of Culture and Science is the tallest building in the country. It's
got forty-two floors. On the thirtieth floor, there is a large observation
deck. There, you can see a beautiful view of the city. In the Palace there
are theatres, museums, a cinema, a swimming pool and a post office.

4.POINT FOUR
The Warsaw Chopin Airport is located in the Wlochy district ten kilometres from
the city centre. It was opened in 1934. There are 50 airlines at the airport with
300 daily fights to international destinations. In 2019 the airport handled about
19 million passengers.

5. POINT FIVE
The National Stadium in Warsaw is a place for football matches and
concerts. It’s got seats for about fifty-nine thousand people. There are a
heated football pitch, a training pitch and an underground parking lot.
There is also an observation deck.

6.POINT SIX
Belvedere palace in the Łazienki Park is the residence of the Polish president.
The history of Belvedere started 500 years ago. The name Belvedere comes from
Italian words “bel vedere". In Polish, it means “a beautiful view".
