Through my many classroom experiences and skills, I feel that I am a worthy fourth-
grade teacher candidate for your district. I have a lot of knowledge in the different
content areas and ways to approach these subjects in a way that is effective for my
students. My biggest strengths are that I’m organized, hard-working, and easy to work
with. I am also dedicated to giving my students the best education possible by addressing
their individual needs and involving them in the classroom process. My classes at DSU
and my student teaching experiences have prepared me to teach all content areas to my
students, while incorporating technology, and to pique their curiosity as well as to
encourage them to become lifelong learners. I have learned a great deal from Mrs.
Weismantel and Mrs. Secker on how to handle unique situations with students and how
to assist students who have special needs.
Sincerely,
Erin Criddle
