The objective of project in scope is to implement Manufacturing Execution System for

current Temprina Media Grafika Surabaya production day to day operation to be more
efficient and effective.

FUNCTIONAL SCOPE

MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM

MPS Engine (back-end)

1. Pulling products / items from existing ERP system.
Assumption: complete set of items are available for recipe creation, exclude product
cost.
Limitation:
a. Scheduled once per day or triggered by user.
b. All data are pulled, unless filters are used on the data source before it is pulled
c. 1-way sync. MIDSUIT only shows the data, no changes are made.
2. Pulling production machine / manufacturing equipment from existing ERP system.
Assumption: complete set of manufacturing equipment are available for routing
creation, exclude manufacturing cost.
Limitation:
a. Scheduled once per day or triggered by user.
b. All data are pulled, unless filters are used on the data source before it is pulled
c. 1-way sync. MIDSUIT only shows the data, no changes are made.
3. Pulling job order data (demand) from existing ERP system.
Assumption:
a. Required changes are made inside MIDSUIT only.
4. Creating bill of materials (recipe and routing).
Assumption: all manufactured products (and/or sold), have at least 1 complete set
bill of material
Limitation:
a. Only calculate quantity of items and hours needed to create a product.
b. MIDSUIT doesn’t validate whether product has complete set bill of material or
not.
5. Generate master production schedule.
Assumption:
a. Resources always available, i.e. stock on hand.
b. Rules for scheduling are provided by client.

a. Solely based on bill of material routing. MIDSUIT doesn’t suggest new route.
6. Production dashboard:
a. Schedule viewed as Gantt-chart.
b. Production performance (indicator).
7. Generate production order and push it into production terminal.
a. No journal generated.
8. Job order traceability.
9. Notification on production issue.
Limitation: only when users open the Engine, or email.
10. Adjust schedule route, recalculate schedule, updating production order, and re-push
it
into production terminal.
Limitation:
a. Adjustment by user, MIDSUIT doesn’t suggest new production routes.
b. Only calculate hours needed.
c. Available on remaining (or held) schedules, not on running schedule.

MPS Apps (terminal, production operator)

1. Material usage realization and push quantity used into existing ERP system.
Limitation:
a. No journal generated.
b. MIDSUIT doesn’t calculate stock on hand.
2. (Semi) finished goods receipt realization and push quantity received into existing ERP
system.
Limitation:
a. No journal generated.
b. MIDSUIT doesn’t calculate stock on hand.
c. MIDSUIT doesn’t calculate product cost.
3. Production issue, push notification, and automatically recalculate remainder
schedules. Limitation:
a. Data are stored in MIDSUIT only.
b. In-apps (MPS Engine) notification or email notification
Assumption: email-server available and applicable (API-ready) for sending message
programmatically.

PROJECT METHODOLOGY

We will use standard waterfall methodology for

this project starting from preparation, design,
develop, test and go live following by support.

During design we will provide blueprinting with

complete mockup, functionality, behaviour and
related tech design. Development will use our
internal cloud server and regularly can be push
to client dev environment for continues testing.

We will have several test steps which includes unit test (UT), System Integration Test
(SIT), Performance and Stress Test and also Penetration Test in case needed. Sepcial for
Penetration Test, it will need to be done by client team or the external party just in case
required. Finally User Acceptance Test will be held along with the Key User for final Test
before Migration. Script for test will be defined by key user supported by Consultant team.

HARDWARE AND INFRASTRUCTURE

▪ Wireless network will need to be provided by Client which cover all part for mobile
apps.
▪ Mobile Device can be provided either by Client or Consultant with Specification (Items
may change after the assessment process) as follow:
