GRAMMAR & COMMUNICATON

01 Communication involves transmission of verbal and non-verbal

messages. It consists of a sender, a receiver and channel of
communication.
In the words of Keith Davis, “Communication is the process of
passing information and understanding from one person to
another. It is essentially a bridge of meaning between people.”

Using incorrect grammar can lead to sentences being meaningless and the
message unclear, which in turn can lead to misinterpretation by a communication
partner.

Using proper grammar makes listening and reading easier for others and can
make communication more enjoyable. Proper spelling, proper grammar, and
proper use of punctuation will give your readers more confidence in the person
(or company) they are communicating with.
