SCRIPTING FOR BROADCAST MEDIA

EXT. KENYAN MARKETPLACE - DAY

We see a bustling marketplace in Kenya, with vendors shouting their wares and customers
haggling over prices. Suddenly, we hear a refreshing sound.

SFX: Fizzing sound

CUT TO:

INT. LOCAL KIOSK - DAY

We see a young man, KAMAU, taking a break from his work as a fruit vendor. He's sweating
and tired from the hot sun, but he's smiling as he takes a cold can of Sprite soda from the fridge.
He cracks it open and takes a long, refreshing sip.

CUT TO:

EXT. KENYAN MARKETPLACE - DAY

As Kamau walks back to his fruit stand, he's approached by a group of curious children.

CHILD 1: Hey, what's that you're drinking?

KAMAU: It's Sprite, the coolest soda in town!

CHILD 2: Can we try some?

KAMAU: Sure thing!

Kamau hands the kids each a can of Sprite, and they eagerly take a sip. Their faces light up with
delight.

CUT TO:

INT. KENYAN HOME - DAY

We see a family sitting down to dinner. The mother, WANJIKU, pours each member a glass of
Sprite.

WANJIKU: Nothing beats a cold Sprite to wash down a good meal.

CUT TO:
EXT. KENYAN STREET - DAY

We see a group of friends walking down the street. One of them, MARY, is feeling hot and
thirsty.

MARY: Ugh, I need something to drink.

Her friend, JAMES, pulls out a can of Sprite.

JAMES: Here, have some of this.

Mary takes a sip and her eyes widen with surprise.

MARY: Wow, this is so refreshing!

JAMES: That's why it's my favorite soda.

CUT TO:

EXT. KENYAN BEACH - DAY

We see a group of young people lounging on the beach. They're all holding cans of Sprite, and
they're laughing and having a great time.

FRIEND 1: I can't believe how good this soda tastes!

FRIEND 2: And it's so cool and refreshing.

CUT TO:

INT. LOCAL STORE - DAY

We see a woman, NYAMBURA, browsing the shelves of a local store. She spots a can of Sprite
and picks it up.

NYAMBURA: I've heard so many good things about this soda. I'll have to try it.

CUT TO:

EXT. KENYAN MARKETPLACE - DAY

We see Kamau back at his fruit stand, surrounded by satisfied customers.

KAMAU: Nothing beats a cold can of Sprite on a hot day!

FADE OUT.
