Vocabulary

Organism: A living being


Interaction: are two or more organisms living together.
Nutrients: Substances that the body needs so the body can have energy.
Food web: It’s the interconnection of various food chains.
Food chain: It’s the exchange of energy between organisms by being eaten.
Producers: Are organisms that make their own food and make energy for other organisms.
Consumers: Animals that eat other organisms from other species.
Decomposers: An organism that can break into parts of another organism. 
Ecosystem: A group of organisms and non-organic work together to be sustainable.  
Environment: It’s an area functioning together with abiotic factors in the zone.
