Present contiuoius :

The Present Continuous Tense To talk about an action that is happening


now at the time of speaking and has not ended to describe the events that
are still present at the moments of talking about them.

Positive sentences:

S + is,am,are +Ving + COMP

EX : I am listening to music.

She is playing an instrument.

He is going to school right now.

Negative sentences:

S + is,am,are + NOT +Ving + COMP

EX : I am not talking to you


He is not working right now

Irregular verbs in the present continuous :


If the infinitive verb ends in (e), we drop the letter e and put directly (ing):

If the verb ends with a consonant and a vowel precedes it (a,e,i,u,o), we
double the last letter and then put (ing):

Stop stopping

drop Dropping

Travel travelling

cut Cutting

Put putting
