REVIEW OF 2021 HSB SBA

In our last sitting, some students did not carryout the research. They stayed home and made-up data,
seemly fictitious, and presented as the SBA. This is not acceptable and will only see you receiving a
zero for your failure to complete the SBA. Hence, make every effort to watch the videos that serves as
guide. Read the recommended pages and go out in the communities and do the actual research. The
work will be seen in your graphs.
OBSERVATION
Citizens from many parts of Jamaica have demonstrated angerly in the streets for the timely collection
of garbage. They have complained of the infrequent garbage collection negative impacts on their
communities (health, environment, economy, and social framework).
For a named community, you are task to carry out research that will check the validity of the
residence claim.
Your research should follow the strict guidelines outlined by CSEC. The expectations and
interpretation of CSEC are explained in videos posted on Youtube channel: csec biology tcp. These
three videos were also sent to your WhatsApp groups. The expectations can also be found in the new
Human and Social Biology syllabus.
Make sure you watch the videos and understand the path to completion before you start your research.
Your research MUST be informed by content from the syllabus which can be found in your
basal readers (Collins Concise Revision Course, CSEC Human and Social Biology), pages 119 to
159.
