I. Introduction

Imo is a messaging and video calling application that allows users to communicate with their
friends and family across the world. This app offers a variety of features such as text and voice
messaging, video and voice calling, group chats and calls, media and file sharing, and much more.
The application is available for download on both Android and iOS devices.

System Requirements:
 Android version 4.0 or later
 iOS version 8.0 or later

II. Getting Started

Download and Installation:

1. Open the Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS) on your device.
2. Search for "imo" in the search bar.
3. Tap on "Install" or "Get" to start the download and installation process.
4. Once the application has finished installing, tap on the icon to open it.

Creating an Account:
1. When you first open the application, you will be prompted to create a new account.
2. Enter your phone number and tap "Next."
3. You will receive a verification code via SMS. Enter the code and tap "Next."
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your profile, such as entering your name and
adding a profile picture.
5. Once your account is set up, you can start adding contacts and chatting with them.

Adding Contacts:
1. To add a new contact, tap on the "Contacts" icon in the bottom menu.
2. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
 3. Enter the person's phone number and tap "Add."
4. If the person has an imo account, their name will appear in your contacts list once they
have accepted your friend request.

Navigation Overview:
 The bottom menu contains icons for "Chats," "Contacts," "Calls," and "Settings."
 The "Chats" tab shows your ongoing chats and recent messages.
 The "Contacts" tab shows your contacts list and allows you to add new contacts.
 The "Calls" tab shows your call history and allows you to make new calls.
 The "Settings" tab allows you to adjust your personal settings, notification settings, and
security settings.

III. Chatting and Calling

Text and Voice Messaging:

1. To start a new chat, tap on the "Chats" icon in the bottom menu.
2. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
3. Select the contact you want to chat with.
4. Type your message in the text field and tap "Send."
5. To send a voice message, tap and hold the microphone icon and speak your message.
Release the icon to send the message.

Video and Voice Calling:

1. To make a call, tap on the "Calls" icon in the bottom menu.
2. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
3. Select the contact you want to call.
4. Choose either "Video Call" or "Voice Call."
5. Wait for the person to answer the call.

Group Chats and Calls:

1. To start a group chat, tap on the "Chats" icon in the bottom menu.
2. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
3. Select "New Group."
4. Choose the contacts you want to add to the group.
5. Type your message in the text field and tap "Send."
6. To start a group call, tap on the "Calls" icon in the bottom menu.

8. Select "New Group Call."
 9. Choose the contacts you want to add to the group call.
10. Choose either "Video Call" or "Audio Call" according to your desire.
