I. Introduction
Imo is a messaging and video calling application that allows users to communicate with their
friends and family across the world. This app offers a variety of features such as text and voice
messaging, video and voice calling, group chats and calls, media and file sharing, and much more.
The application is available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
System Requirements:
Android version 4.0 or later
iOS version 8.0 or later
Creating an Account:
1. When you first open the application, you will be prompted to create a new account.
2. Enter your phone number and tap "Next."
3. You will receive a verification code via SMS. Enter the code and tap "Next."
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your profile, such as entering your name and
adding a profile picture.
5. Once your account is set up, you can start adding contacts and chatting with them.
Adding Contacts:
1. To add a new contact, tap on the "Contacts" icon in the bottom menu.
2. Tap on the "+" icon in the top right corner.
3. Enter the person's phone number and tap "Add."
4. If the person has an imo account, their name will appear in your contacts list once they
have accepted your friend request.
Navigation Overview:
The bottom menu contains icons for "Chats," "Contacts," "Calls," and "Settings."
The "Chats" tab shows your ongoing chats and recent messages.
The "Contacts" tab shows your contacts list and allows you to add new contacts.
The "Calls" tab shows your call history and allows you to make new calls.
The "Settings" tab allows you to adjust your personal settings, notification settings, and
security settings.
Connection issues: Make sure you have a strong internet connection or try resetting your
device's network settings.
App crashes: Try force-quitting the imo application or uninstalling and reinstalling it.
Cannot receive notifications: Check your notification settings or try clearing the app
cache.
Poor call quality: Make sure you have a strong internet connection or try adjusting the call
settings.
