Capstone update #4

By the end of the week, I will finish the little details on my video and finish my PowerPoint
presentation. I’ll need assistance from my teachers on what I need to have included in my
PowerPoint presentation and I am going to send my final copy of the film to my mentor Sam so
she can give me any potential additions. I’ll also need assistance from peers for feedback and
help me with ideas if needed.

The only obstacle that I am trying to figure out right now is how to get rid of the grey noise in
the software I am using. I usually know how to get rid of it, but I have been struggling to use that
function on DaVinci Resolve. I have researched and am still struggling so I will ask my mentor.
Core skills I employed are, critical thinking. I have used critical thinking to try and figure out the
functions of Davinci resolve despite being unsuccessful at times. I have had to use
communication to talk to my mentor and get feedback from my mentor. It takes communication
because I must reach out to them and communicate to generate ideas.

I have encountered challenges regarding the editing software but have overcome them by
researching and asking questions about the issues.
