The Greatest Showman

The movie directed by Michael Gracey and written by Jenny Bics and Bill Condon
entitled The Greatest Showman was act by the actor and actresses Hugh Jackman as
P.Barnum and Michelle Williams as Charity.It is a story of a orphaned,poor young man
named Phineas Taylor was like a thirsty man for innovation and a hunger for
success.His father Philo was a tailor. Philo wants to have a wax museum but definitely
shift to focus a circus stage.They went to the house of Mr.Hallet and his daughter
Charity.Phineas noticed Charity on the other side particularly in the table.Charity was
drinking tea and suddenly she spit out her tea because Phineas make her to
laugh.Thats the reason why Mr.Hallet smack Charity.Regardless of what happen
Charity and Phineas got to be closefriends.They sending a letter to each other while
Charity forced to go to school to finish her study.They enventually reunite when they
are already older.This is also the time when Phineas proposed to Charity.
Phineas work in a trading company.Then the day came that his boss tell them that they
need to shut the company due to bankruptcy,because of the reason that the trading
vessels have sunk in the milddle of the ocean.Phineas bring a spinning lamp to his wife
and daughter Caroline,it is also his gift for Caroline’s birthday.While Charity and
Caroline makes a wish,Phineas got I idea.
Because of bankruptcy of his company,therefore,Barnum don’t have a work.Barnum
then goes to bank to loan $10,000.He opens up a museum of oddities.People doesn’t
interested with his museum.Barnum search a unique persons in the town.He meet a
dwarf named Charles Stratton(played by sam Humphrey) and a bearded woman named
Lettie Luz(play by Keala Settle) and a big and obese man Lord of Leeds and many
more.Phineas Barnum get them all to make a musical number of shows that the crowds
watch every night.The show was name first come a live. One who remains unimpressed
is critic James Gordon Bennett (Paul Sparks). There start his lucky.The circus starts to
gain profits.Mr.Barnums have earned money to move his family to deluxe mansion,and
he able to put Caroline to ballet school.Caroline was mock by the other girls because of
being part of the family of circus. Barnum later meets a dramatist named Phillip Carlyle
(Zac Efron). He approaches Philip with the opportunity to join his circus "The Other
Side", and Phillip agrees on the condition that he get 10% of the profits.
The circus was invited to meet queen Victoria(gayle rankin).Barnum and Phillip meet
noted opera singer Jenny Lind (Rebecca Ferguson), and they invite her to perform for
the show so that she may become known worldwide. Barnum goes on tour with Jenny,
leaving Phillip as the ringmaster with the show.The distance proves to be hard for
Charity and the girls ("Tightrope"). While celebrating their success so far, Jenny shows
that he start to fall barnum,but barnum was still faithful to his wife charity. Jenny gets
angry and threatens barnum tha she will quit. After a performance,a photo of Jenny
kissing Barnum appear.

Because of what happen,one of the protestor threw a lantern to the wall,the reason why
the theater is on fire.Barnums get home as soon as he can after hearing the news about
the fire.after the fire,Barnum and Bennett sit outside the theater.Bennett shows him the
newspaper,which shows jenny was kissing him.Barnum rushes to go home only to find
out that Charity was packed her bag because the bank evicting them and also for over
seeing the newspaper.
Barnum was in the bar,drunk.His troupe find him and they confront him.  Barnum is
encouraged to pick himself up and help get the troupe back to performing "From Now
On". He then runs to Charity's childhood home where the girls tell him that she's at the
beach. Barnum goes to apologize to her for being obsessed with chasing fame, and she
says all she wanted was the man she fell in love with.
Philip and Barnum start again the circus.They start again with the use of tent for the
cicus and Barnum then decides to hand over the job of ringmaster to Phillip so that he
can go and watch his girls grow up. Phillip finishes the show and kisses Anne, while
Barnum rides an elephant to meet Charity and the girls.The film ends with Barnum and
Charity watching Caroline perform in the ballet and Barnum think that everything he
ever wanted and needed is in front of him.
