Purpose of the Meeting/ Agenda:

 To review the progress on the current Enhanced School Improvement Plan.


 Review data and discuss tutoring and other ways to improve instruction.
 Discuss budget and staffing needs for SY 2021-2026.
 Looking at scores on benchmarks, dibels, etc.
 Action Plan – to look at scores, gaps, etc. to make a plan.

 It started with a prayer led by Mr. Rommel A. Requilme, Religious Sector Representative;
followed by the attendance check facilitated by Mrs. Juvy A. Baga-an, SBM Coordinator, then the
school head, Mrs. Lolita C. Navarro expressed her words of welcome, explained the purpose of
the meeting and presented an overview of SIP. She stated that the School Improvement Plan
(SIP) is the main vehicle through which schools will proceed down the path to improvement.
Therefore the Improvement Plan is a document which embodies what a school wants to achieve
and the manner which to achieve these.
 She discussed the importance, roles and responsibilities of the School Planning Team and further
discussed and highlighted that the support of SPT was very essential to whatever plans, projects,
and activities of the school.
 She also stressed out that the bond between and among the stakeholders must be strengthened
for it was not only shared responsibility but also shared accountability.
 It was emphasized that the major function of the SPT in the school community was to craft the
School Improvement Plan.
 The school head presented to the body the current situation of the school where the SPT
discussed the issues and concerns that the school has to improve; for the open forum, the SPT
discussed the issues concerning learner’s performance.
 These were the programs being discussed and approved by the SPT.
ACCESS – Enrolment, Participation & Promotion
 “ See You Through ” – increase learners attendance rate from 90% (164) to 100% (182)
 “ Count Me In ” – increase the number of enrolments of school age learners
 “ Hold Me On ” – Reduce the dropout rate of 1 learner to 0
 “ I Believe I Can Fly “ – increase learners’ participation in all curricular and non-curricular
activities from 60 to 80 learners
 “ I Will Survive “ – Sustain number of learners from kindergarten to Grade 6 until they
will graduate

QUALITY – School and Learners’ Performance and Supervision


 “ Raised Me Up “ – Reduce the number of frustration level learners of grades 4-6 from
10 learners to 0.
 “ Show Me What You’ve Got “ – Hone teachers to become competitive and effective
 “ Take It All “ – Request funds school maintenance and other operating expenses
 “ Take It Higher “ – Increase the level of performance in all learning areas
 “ Reach for the Star “ – Increase the Learners Scholastic Performance
 “ Healthy Body, Healthy Mind “ – Reduce the number of malnourished learners from 17
to 0
 “ Don’t Stop Believing “ – Upgrade teachers’ capabilities to become effective and
efficient facilitator of learning

GOVERNANCE – School physical facilities, equipment and furniture


 “ Gateway to Learning “ – Construct 1 school gate
 “ A Wall to Remember “ – Construct 10 span school concrete perimeter fence
 “ Don’t Be Afraid “ – Reduce hazard in the school community
 “ Better and Stronger “ – Improve the SBM level of practice from level 2 to level 3
 “ Tub-thumping “ – Increase generated resources from 400, 000.00 to 500, 000.00
 “ Ligtas Ang May Alam “ – Increase the number of trained teachers from 5 to 8
 “ To The Moon Plus Back “ – Improve Sci-Math Garden through construction of at least 2
amenities
 “ Past and Future “ – Increase Heroes Park amenities from 6 to 10

“ Stand By Me “ – Increase Gulayan sa Paaralan monthly yield from 10 kilos to 15 kilos
for school feeding program
 “ You’re Beautiful Inside and Out “ – Increase learning facilities to make it more
conducive for learning
 “ The Core “ – Install cubicles in administration room for administrator’s office, clinic,
and kitchen
 The SPT had a fruitful discussion on the vision, mission and core values sharing.
 The meeting ended at 4: 46 P.M.
