Guidelines and Mechanics for Hip-Hop Dance Competition
1. The participant/s must be a bonafide student/s of MNHS.
2. There should be 1 entry per grade level. 3. A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 members. 4. Clothing that shows cleavage is not allowed. 5. Hip-hop style such as popping, locking, breaking and cramping must be present in the choreography. 6. The music to be used must be 4-5 minutes long. 7. Pyramid building, throwing, and other dangerous stunts are strictly prohibited. 8. Choreographies presented/considered lewd and sexually explicit/inappropriate are also not allowed. 9. Entrance and exit are optional but within the time limit of the dance music. 10. Any kind of props is not allowed. 11. The decision of the judges is final and not subject to any protests or appeals.

a) Choreography and impact - 25% b) Creativity and Interpretation - 25% c) Showmanship (Execution and Expression) - 25% d) Synchronization of Movements/Mastery - 15% e) Attire - 10%
