Note:
1. * marked item is mandatory for castings, highlighted specifically in Purchase Order as per Pressure
Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EC – May 1997.Whenever service temperature is below 0°C & is
specicified by customer ,Impact Testing to be done at that temperature and absorbed energy to be 27J
minimum.
2. For above castings, Material Test Certificates should be as per EN 10204-3.1.B & the castings should be
suitably identified.
3. For MESC SPE 77/302, Carbon content shall be 0.25% weight max.
