Process of Recruitment

1.Identifying the Hiring Needs

The recruitment process starts with identifying the vacancies that exist
followed by analyzing the job specifications including the knowledge, skills and
experience needed for the role. We need to figure out where the gaps are in our
current team. We will regularly analyze performance and make a list of missing
qualities, qualifications, skills and proficiencies that we need to add to our team.
Being mindful about the employees that might leave. A strong recruitment team
ensures a strong recruitment process.

2.Preparing the Job Description

It is time to determine the duties and responsibilities of the job. The job
description should have title, duties and responsibilities, qualification and skills,
location, and compensation, perks and benefits. On writing a perfect job description,
it should be personalized, specific, and provide the details when you can.

3.Talent Search
Motivating them to apply are the most important aspects of the recruitment
process. It should generate referrals as well as externally on popular social
networking sites and preferred job boards. Recruiting through internal sources also
reduces the attrition rate along with cost and effort. The recruiter can fill a vacancy
in a different location without any changes in the job role by transferring a suitable
candidate from within the organization. Depending on the performance of the
employees, sometimes the management has to take the decision of lowering the
position of underperformers.

4.Screening and Shortlisting

This is where the recruitment process gets difficult and challenging. Sorting
resumes that have the preferred credentials by looking at their certifications,
relevant experience, domain expertise, technical competencies and other specific
skills that are required for the role. Flag any concerns or queries in the resume so
they can be clarified during the interview.

5. Interviewing
Interview is a way to screen potential candidates against their knowledge,
skills and experience mentioned in the job description. We will conduct a
Psychometric test for any given position because these tests specify the complete
personality profile, behavior, flexibility, creativity, communication and problem-
solving skills that are required to perform in a given situation. Then we will conduct a
Face-to-Face interview and prepare questions that will give us insights into every job
applicant’s professional background to assess whether or not they might be a good
fit for the open role.

6. Evaluation and offer of employment

Once the final selection for the position is done, we will check the candidate’s
professional references and verify all the employment details. Then we will be
making the job offer letter that will include everything from the start date and the
conditions of employment to the work hours and ensuring that every detail is clear
and unambiguous. Given the considerable amount of time, effort, cost and resources
involved in the recruitment process, evaluation becomes imperative. Having
dashboards and analytics will help us be organized will all our data. It will reveal
valuable insights into how well our recruitment process is working and also help us
identify areas of improvement.

7. Introduction and Induction of the New Employees

When they accept the job offer, they officially become the employees of the
business. Then pre-employment screening that includes reference and background
checks are conducted. Once the verification is done, the employees are then
introduced to the organization. Since every new employee might feel awkward, we
will put extra effort and help the new employees settle in and show them around
and make them feel comfortable. The induction process of the employees then
begins. During the induction process, a welcome kit is usually given to the new
employees, and then the employment contract is signed.

Orientation Process

1. We will provide a tour of the workplace.

2. We will review the company policies.
3. We will wrap up administrative details.
4. We will introduce the new employee/s to co-workers.
5. We will explain business history and values.
6. We will set up an office or workspace
7. We will proceed to the on-the-job training and mentoring.
