1 Sklera merupakan lapisan putih yang keras dan kukuh.

Sclera is a hard and stiff white layer.

2 Kornea merupakan lapisan lut sinar di hadapan sklera.

The cornea is a transparent lining in front of the sclera.

3 Koroid ialah lapisan tengah dinding mata yang berwarna yang kaya dengan salur darah.
Choroid is the middle layer of the coloured eye wall that is rich in blood vessels.

4 Iris ialah lapisan koroid di sekeliling pupil.

Iris is the layer of choroid around the pupil.

5 Otot silia ialah otot unjuran daripada koroid.

Ciliary muscle is a projected muscle from the choroid.

6 Apabila seseorang bergerak dari kawasan terang ke kawasan gelap, saiz pupil menjadi besar. Lebih banyak cahaya
masuk ke dalam mata. Mata dapat melihat dalam gelap selepas seketika.
When someone moves from a bright area to a dark area, the size of the pupils becomes bigger. More light enters the eye. The
eyes can see in the dark after a while.

7 Bintik kuning mengandungi paling banyak fotoreseptor.

The yellow spot has the most photoreceptors.

8 Apabila seseorang bergerak dari kawasan gelap ke kawasan terang, saiz anak mata menjadi kecil. Kurang cahaya
masuk ke dalam mata. Mata dilindungi daripada cahaya yang terlalu terang.
When a person moves from a dark area to a bright one, the size of the pupils becomes smaller. Less light enters the eye. The
eyes are protected from light that is too bright.

9 Terdapat tiga jenis sel kon, iaitu sel kon yang peka kepada cahaya merah, hijau dan biru.
There are three types of cone cells, that is cone cells which are sensitive to red, green and blue lights.

10 Sel kon berfungsi pada waktu siang untuk melihat cahaya berwarna.
Cone cells operate during the day to enable us to see coloured lights.

11 Sel rod berfungsi pada waktu malam untuk melihat objek yang kelihatan berwarna hitam dan putih.
Rod cells operate at night to enable us to see objects that appear black and white.
