I. Objectives
At the end of the discussion the students should be able to:

III. Procedure
1. Preparatory Activity

• Drill
B. Review
Ask the students to enumerate the different recreational activities they know and
let them describe each activity.
C. Motivation
Show a video presentation of different recreational activities and ask the students
to identify the activities shown. After that, ask them to choose their top three
favorite recreational activities.
D. Presentation
1. Activity
Divide the class into groups and assign each group a different recreational
activity. Ask them to come up with a short presentation about the nature of
the activity, its benefits, and how it can be done. They should also include
safety precautions and guidelines.

2. Analysis
After the presentations, ask the class to identify the similarities and
differences among the different recreational activities presented. Guide the
discussion towards the different benefits of each activity and how it can
contribute to an individual’s physical, social, and emotional well-being.

Give the students a real-life scenario where they need to plan a recreational
activity for a group of people. They should identify the nature of the activity,
the venue, the equipment needed, and the safety precautions that should
be observed.

Examples of indoor recreational activities include board games, video games, and
dancing.
5. What are the different outdoor recreational activities that can be done in the
Philippines? Answer: Examples of outdoor recreational activities in the Philippines
include hiking, swimming, and surfing.
V. Assignment
Ask the students to come up with a plan for their top three favorite recreational activities.
They should identify the nature of the activity, the venue, the equipment needed, and the safety
precautions that should be observed.
