Work motivation is something that creates enthusiasm or encouragement to

work.

The purpose of this study was to determine the factors related to the work
motivation of nurses. This research was carried out at the Waara Health Center, Palopo
City on 26-29 June 2022. The type of research used was descriptive analytic using a
cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study were all nurses at the Wara Health
Center, Palopo City with a total sampling method of sampling the number of
respondents as many as 30 samples.

The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between salary
perception and work motivation with a value of p = 0.005 (<0.02), there is a relationship
between years of service and work motivation with a value of p = 0.009 (<0.05), there is
a relationship between knowledge and work motivation with p value = 0.007 (<0.05).

It is hoped that nurses will improve their perception of salary, years of service, and
knowledge in order to get better work motivation.
