SUMMARY
I am a Data Scientist with over 5 years of experience in preparing and analyzing data from several sectors including
education, and building data collection systems and visualization dashboards. I have knowledge and experience with web
development, and data engineering as well. I have co-authored several reports including this recent journal article I have a
passion for solving challenges in the social development sector using my knowledge and skills.

Overall, I am responsible for lead and supporting the integrating cutting-edge technologies and innovations pursued by the
company in our work. Moreover, I am also responsible for automating and improving systems and processes.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation process of several innovation initiatives including Initiatives experimenting with
AI tools and Geo-spatial data.
• Develop prototypes to test new ideas and concepts aimed at improving efficiency of the current system or process.

hosted on Azure, data storage and data security systems.
In this role, I was responsible for designing research instruments, cleaning and preparing data, conducting analysis,
writing and disseminating results.
• Use advanced data science skills to analysis data to answer research questions and present data-driven results
and recommendations in a report.
• Collaborate in the development of interactive dashboards using R and Shiny to visually present key findings from the data.

including governments, researchers and donors.

The goal of the project was to build a platform to link unbanked smallholder farmers to traditional financial services providers.
This was a pilot project in Rwanda, funded by Thomson Reuters.
• Led in sampling and gathering of data on smallholder farmers in Rwanda to use in building predictive models for a
pilot project.
• Collaborated in the design and development of a prototype web and USSD application through which smallholder
farmers to connect with financial providers.
• Collaborated in the development a preliminary credit risk score for smallholder farmers using primary and
secondary data collected.
• Contributed to the writing of the final report detailing the pilot outcomes, challenges and recommendations for the future.
