Afternoon of September 16, 2022, in order to attain our objective, we gather and prepare

the materials needed in our experiment; 18 pieces of 1.5L used plastic coke bottle, Bermuda,
decomposed or dried leaves, pure soil and materials for cutting and marking like scissors, cutter
and marker or pentel pen.
We begin by cutting the 9-plastic bottles in half horizontally (lengthwise) and set aside
the top parts that has been cut from the plastic bottles.
Second, we made holes in every cap of the plastic bottles that has been cut. So that the
water will flow to this cap if we tilted the plastic bottles in some degree.
Third, we put pure soil on the first 3 plastic bottles, Bermuda in second 3 plastic bottles,
and dried decomposed leaves on the remaining three bottles.
Fourth, we cut the remaining 9 bottles in half horizontally but this time we cut it
crosswise. From the cap of the bottle, we measured 10 centimeters or specifically on the line
and cut it, then we set aside the top part which has the cap on it, for we are only using the
bottom part.

Monday, September 19, 2022 we started the experiment by labeling the 9 -plastic
bottles. The first 3 bottles with pure soil we named it as Treatment 1 (T 1), the second 3 bottles
with decomposed leaves named it as Treatment 2 (T2), lastly the 3 bottles with Bermuda on it
we named it as Treatment 3 (T3).

We need to rearranged the plastics bottles for the experiment, in order to do this, we
write the labels in a piece of paper and put it in a box and randomly selecting 3 papers for each
group. Then we get this result:

Row 1 (group 1):

T3, T2, T1
Row 2 (group 2):
T2, T1, T3
Row 3 (group 3):
T3, T1, T2

We arranged the bottles in some degree so that the water will flow out of the cap, then
we started by gently pouring 100mL of water in each treatment. We record the time the water
extracted to the last drop from the tilted plastic bottle, then we measured the extracted water
using a device called graduated cylinder then note the result. We repeat this process 5 times, in
every result and changes we recorded it.
