Statement of Problem

This study determines the impact of project-based learning on grade 12 chemistry in

Zamboanga Sibugay for the School Year 2022-2023 as a basis for an instructional

enrichment plan.

Specifically, it seeks to answer the following questions:

1. What is the demographic profile of the respondent groups in terms of:

1.1 age and gender;

1.2 socio- economic status;

1.3 parents' educational background and

1.4 social studies grade in the previous year’s level?

2.To what extent does the project based learning practices align to the following gold
standard elements:
2.1 key knowledge, understanding and success;
2.2 challenging problem or question;
2.3 sustained inquiry;
2.4 authenticity;
2.5student voice and choice;
2.6 reflection;
2.7 critique and revision and
2.8 output?
3.To what extent does the project based teaching practices align to the scoring guide
standards:
3.1 design and plan;
3.2 align to standards;
3.3 build the culture;
3.4 manage activities;
3.5 scaffold student learning and
3.6 assess student learning?
4. To what extent do students achieve academically and develop success skills with project
based learning in terms of:
4.1 academic success;
4.2 self- direction;
4.3 collaboration and

4.4 overall impact?


5. Based on the findings, what instructional enrichment plan can be proposed?
