M2 Pre - Task

1. Is your name from the Hebrew bible or from the Old Testament? If
yes, from which story or account? If no, ask your parents (take
advantage of your home quarantine/lock down) where they got your
name.

- My first name (Mary Jules), "Mary", is from the Hebrew bible that
means "beloved" and "rebellious." It's the Hebrew name for Miriam,
Moses' sister in the Old Testament of the Bible, a reference to the biblical
Miriam's life as a slave in Egypt.

2. What is the meaning of your name?

- According to my parents, there is no significant meaning for my name.
But according to google, the name "Mary" means beloved and rebellious.
Meanwhile, the name "Jules" means youthful & downy.

3. Does the meaning of your name affect you? In what way?

- Now that I've known the meaning of my second name (Jules), I think the
meaning itself hits hard on me because personally, I sometimes think myself as
a rebellious teenager.Whenever my parents disapprove of something, I always
make sure to get what I want, thus, I started to learn how to rebel.
