An utter Ideology or Realism?

By: Kyle Noel Pascua

Gender equality has been a hot topic in

our country now adays. It was believed that the
world has been overly dominated by men
leaving the other gender powerless and
sometimes being downgraded causing chaos
among the genders. Some say equality is only
idealistic since equality is a complete myth
according to realists.

Nationwide landmark law banning sexism,

domestic violence, catcalls, and wolf whistles
has been passed. There has been uneven
enforcement, and many women are unaware of
the legal rights to which they are entitled. It
also took some time to get the legal
impediments to the full application of the
reproductive health law removed.

Because women continue to be on the

front lines of the pandemic and climate crises,
whether as health professionals, community
leaders, educators, or unpaid caregivers, there
is an urgent need to boost women and girls'

To Kill A
Mockingbird

This book is widely considered a classic of American literature and explores

themes of racial inequality, justice, and morality in a small Southern town during the
1930s.

The book is told from the perspective of Scout, a young girl growing up in the
town, and follows her experiences as her father, a lawyer named Atticus Finch, defends a
black man who has been falsely accused of a crime. Through her observations and
interactions with the people around her, Scout learns about the harsh realities of
prejudice and discrimination, as well as the power of empathy and compassion.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is celebrated for its vivid and memorable characters, its
poignant portrayal of social issues, and its elegant and evocative prose. It has been
adapted into numerous stage productions, films, and other media, and continues to be
widely read and studied in schools and universities around the world.
