Performance Task:

In appreciation of the East and South Asian religions, the Religion Club of OSFI is
conducting various competitions. As one of your class’s representatives, you are tasked to
write a reflective journal about the teachings and principles of Hinduism, Buddhism,
Confucianism, Daoism, and Shintoism. Your journal should be handwritten containing 6
reflective essays, and each essay should contain 700 words. Your output will be presented
to the club’s advisers and will be evaluated based on the following standards: content
reflection, personal growth, writing quality, required components, and neatness. (See the
rubric on the next page.)
