ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The workshop on Nanostructured Materials for Energy Devices and Environment will be held on 17-18 August, 2011. The workshop is being jointly organized by the Department of Physics and the Centre for Nanosciences & Nanotechnology University of Mumbai It will focus on the potential use of nanostructured materials for energy applications, such as hydrogen energy, hydrogen storage, photo catalysis for water splitter, catalysis for hydrogen production, single crystal Si-photovoltaic, amorphous Siphotovoltaic, Thin film photovoltaic, thermo photovoltaic, solar panel fabrication, installation and technology issues, bio-fuels, water pollution, air pollution etc. It will provide a forum to exchange views and expertise through invited talks, paper presentations and discussions. One page abstracts (~300 words) on contribute papers are invited for presentation in either Oral or Poster session. Please send the abstracts to the Convener on or before 10th August 2011. The author of the accepted abstracts will be notified after the receipt of the abstract, by email on or before 12th August, 2011. Due to financial constraints, No TA/DA will be paid but local hospitality will be provided to a limited number of participants. Please send you request for accommodation in guest house (limited rooms available) along-with the abstracts.
