SOCIAL MEDIA IN ATLANTIS COLLEGE

INTRODUCTION

The aim of this report is to inform about the ways college has been used social media, and also to
make suggestions in order to improve their benefits and efectiveness for both the college and
students.

PROMOTION ON SOCIAL MEDIA

The main objective when college signed in social media was to promote the institution in an
appealing way for parents and young people, to do so, a marketing campaign in which appeared
some videos showing the main areas of the college was launched at the time that some students
related their personal experience in our campus on streaming applications, giving families a closer
perspective of how beneficial studying in an internaional college is.

A WAY FOR COMMUNICATING WITH STUDENTS

Moreover, being an international college, there is a responsability to make sure that students are
informed in every moment of whatever is ocurring inside the facilities. Social media is the easiest
way to get to students so, college directives decided creating a twitter account in which put all the
announcements and schedules, as a consequence, college has experimented a decrease in the waste
of resources such as paper for making the physical notes and an increase in the average of students
warned of announcements.

RECCOMENDATIONS

The use of social media by college is proper, but to make it even more effective, I would recommend
posting photographs and videos that display students making extra-curricular activities and leisure
courses to show a friendlier and funnier side of the college.
