The American Public Health Association's APHA 2021 Annual Meeting and Expo will be here before we know it.
We look forward to your participation from home and in Denver, October 24-27, 2021. This year's meeting is
offering a broad spectrum of high quality, in-depth scientific sessions. The Program Planning Committee and
APHA staff want to thank you for your contribution and participation in furthering the field of public health.
As you plan for your presentation at APHA 2021, be sure to review the presentation guidelines for oral, poster
and roundtables presentations.
All virtual sessions will be presented LIVE through the Zoom Meeting Platform. Poster and roundtable
presenters must also upload a pre-recorded presentation for on-demand viewing. In-person and virtual oral
sessions will be recorded and made available for viewing on-demand following the meeting. Recordings will be
available until January 31, 2022 allowing you 24/7 online access to sessions, so you won't have to choose
between the content of competing sessions.
As a registered attendee you can log into the Annual Meeting Platform using your registration ID number and
email. The platform defaults to Mountain Time. To view the sessions in your time zone, change the "Meeting
Time" to "My Time" on the left navigation panel. Once logged in, search for your presentation using your session
ID number (listed above) or name. Save your session and others to your schedule or star sessions you want to
watch later.
On the day of your presentation, you will join your live session 20 minutes early by clicking the "Join Now" button
that will appear on your session listing. Set a calendar reminder for yourself in your external personal calendar
to make sure you arrive on time. Be sure you set the reminder in the correct time zone.
Any questions about your presentation should be directed to the program planner of the Section, SPIG, Caucus
or Forum organizing the above referenced session(s). See Program Planner Contacts.
Sincerely,
Donna Wright
