TITLE: PROJECT CUPPED-Continuous Upgrading of Personal and


Professional Education Development
TARGET DATE: April 2021 to July 2022

RATIONALE: The K-12 Program being implemented in the
Philippines presents new challenges to Teachers, and
Students and even to Parents. The Program itself
encourages Education to be skillful in the utilization of varied
proven methods of effective classroom management and
techniques suited to the different types of learners. The
School as the heart of formal education never ceases on
providing best Education for all learners.
CALASUMANGA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL being
an advocate of providing quality education for all learners
continue to make an extra effort to improve competencies
and capacities through professional development. The
Professional Development of teachers is a lifelong process.
Teachers have an on-going commitment to maintain their
professional expertise and must recognize themselves as
learners involved in the continuous enhancement of their
knowledge, skills, and teaching-learning approaches.
Teachers enable themselves to progress and learn with
relevance to their individual needs and needs of learner. At
this point, School Heads play an important role in capacitating
teachers hence School Leaders need also to be capacitated
so that they can confidently perform developmental coaching
to their direct report.
With the pressing demand to cope up with the need of
fast changing society, personal and professional development
gives you a competitive edge in the crowded workplace, helping
you to differentiate yourself and gives you a clear direction
towards your goal. This project covers the provision to provide
opportunity for every teachers of Calasumanga NHS to grow
personally and professionally. The inputs in capacity building

programs for School Heads and teachers regarding basic


education programs; implement the directives of the DepEd
initiated programs like INSET,SLAC sessions, seminars and
training as well as continuous acquiring of knowledge and skills
through the access to graduate school programs ; assess the
situation and analyzes the needs of teachers to determine the
suited and appropriate actions and interventions and provide
guidance in instructional supervision for the realization of the
vision, mission and core values of the department where we
belongs.

OBJECTIVES: 1. To capacitate the teachers on the different issues ,trends


and concern about education in the new normal through
seminar, training, INST, and SLAC sessions.
2. Upgrade ones knowledge by enrolling in the graduate
school.
3. Provide developmental coaching and mentoring.

METHODOLOGY The methodology shall be participatory, dynamic and


innovative in nature. The project which involve INSET,
SLAC,and training will be conducted with differentiated
activities such as discussions, group dynamics, film viewing
and other activities prepared by the Resource speakers which
are relevant to the topic.
Resource Speakers will facilitate the discussions, opinions
of the participants, participation in the group activities and
sharing of experiences will be given emphasis too.
At the end of the SLAC and training, teachers are
expected to deepen their knowledge about the topics being
discussed, strengthen their skills and attitudes and realizes
that by building the performance and capacity of teachers, the
project results a profound impact on Educational System.
Participants who successfully completed/submitted an
output shall be given Certificate of recognition and other
awards to be given at the end of the implementation of the
project.
Ohers will encourage to continuously update their
knowledge by enrolling in the graduate program.
OUTPUT: 15 Teachers of CNHS of Panukulan District were capacitated
and actively participated in the training,INSET and SLAC .
OUTCOME 1. The participants are expected to equip knowledge on
the different issues ,trends and concern about education
in the new normal
2. At least 3 or 20% of the teachers enrolled in the graduate
