CIVIL WAR
A conflict of interest has boiled from disagreement to
bloodshed in the blink of an eye. With S.H.I.E.L.D.
mobilizing to enforce the newly minted Superhuman
Registration Act, the United States is now a warzone.
The superhuman population is torn; while some
see merit in enforcing accountability for those with
fantastic powers, others believe that S.H.I.E.L.D.
cannot be trusted to use their authority for the greater
good. As casualties mount and tactics escalate on
both sides, those who support Registration and
those who side with the Renegades have one thing
in common: all will fight to the bitter end to achieve
victory in this Civil War.
At the start of the Civil War event, players pledge
their allegiance to one of the two event factions:
Registration or Renegades. Each faction has unique
abilities and tactics they will learn to employ
effectively over the course of the event. As more
battles are fought each group’s desire to win will
increase, unlocking even greater powers for them to
use to defeat their foes. Each day, a new event mission
becomes active for the players to battle over to prove
their faction’s superiority. These daily event missions
are themed around the Civil War and showcase the
ongoing chaos wrought by this conflict. As the event
progresses, each faction is also able to unlock new
abilities for their players to use in their games.
Each Faction Card gives the players a choice between
two abilities – themed after one of two motivations
that drive their faction. At the start of the day, a new
row of abilities for each player to choose from will
be posted for use in their games– these benefits are

cumulative and can be changed at will! On day one,
players have only an inkling of what is at stake; by
day three, the conflict will have reached fever pitch
and the tactics their faction is willing to employ will
know no limits.
Of course, the goal of each faction is to ensure the
Civil War ends in their favor!
After each game played, players report their results
to Atomic Mass Games at: https://s.surveyplanet.
com/frFlYIpBT. All reports will be tallied and the
faction that comes out ahead will unlock an alternate
art tactic card, which will be included in an upcoming
Organized Play event kit.
EVENT RULES:
Players bring a standard Roster without Crisis Cards
included. Before playing each game, players select
the bonus(es) from the Faction Cards before rolling
for priority. Players use the Mission for the current
day of the Civil War event instead of building a
Mission as normal. After each game played, players
