Sec 1 Maintenance
1-1 Inspection
Perform inspections once a week to check if cotton fly
has built up in the shutter drive section.

1-2 Cleaning
Clean the shutter drive if EH alarm occurs due to
cotton fly or yarn buildup.
Remove all the parts A indicated in the figure on the
right, and take out any cotton fly or yarn waste.

Cleaning location

1-3 Tightening the Timing Belt


Turn and adjust the motor.

Ensure that the belt is not too slack


or too taut. (Recommended tension:
30.2 – 40.6 N)
Malfunctions could occur if the
tension is out of the recommended Fixing bolt
range.
