Presidential Duties
❏ To act as a bridge between College administrations and Student
Body.
❏ Organise and coordinate all matters concerning the General Body
of students.
❏ Conduct a General Body Meeting every month, for which minutes
will be sent to all students.
❏ Coordinate with the Institute for all matters of academics, and
safety of students.
❏ Manage the finances of the Gymkhana.
❏ Work with the Executive Committee in relation to all Gymkhana
events.
 VISION

President – The one entitled or appointed to act or speak for Student Body.

● To inculcate trust amongst students for Gymkhana.

● I assure Transparency- Be it Financial Budget, Mess Tenders or Complaints.

TRANSPARENCY
BUDGET -
● The allocation of the Gymkhana budget will be made available to all the
students with proper proofs and bills.
● Proper documentation will be provided after every Gymkhana event.

GBM -
● A reviewal based GBM will be held as and when deemed necessary by the
students in the campus.
● Updates of all the Gymkhana meetings will be made available to all the
students.
No enquiry left unanswered

● Transparency shall be maintained in efforts put in by the team

to find solutions for enquiries.

● Try our best to come up with a proper solution or provide a

valid reason. However, our team will always be open to
progressive suggestions.
 IITH RADIO

A new service called IITH RADIO/PODCAST will commence.

● The podcast will cover all the major happenings in the campus.
● There will be a quarterly guest on the podcast who will discuss the major the
advancements in the campus.
● The podcast will help the students in the campus stay updated with all the
happenings in the campus.
● It will also help in developing a healthy environment of discussion and positive
criticism.
GENERAL ISSUES
FOOD COURT -
● I am in touch with a company which is very much interested in
opening a food court inside the campus.
● It is the same company which has a food court in the Forum Mall.
● The food court will consist of 5 vendors which will include a coffee
outlet, an ice cream outlet, a south Indian. north Indian and western
food outlets.

FRUIT VENDORS -
● A fruit vendor will be made available inside the campus at least
once a week.
GENERAL ISSUES
UG - PG INTERACTION -
● Intra department activities such as debates, quizzes and cultural events
so as to increase UG-PG interaction.

TRANSPORTATION -
● As per the requirement, special buses will be arranged to Airport and
Secunderabad Railway Station on paid basis.

Query Forum-
● A public forum will be created wherein the queries will be post by the
students And will be visible to everyone such that they can contribute to
thread. This will help in stopping innecessasent spam on common mail.
HOSTEL ISSUES
APPOINTMENT OF HR -
● Each hostel will have a Hostel Representative, who will be appointed
through general consensus of the hostel.
● HR will be responsible for the hostel related maintenance issues.
● People can approach HR at anytime for any hostel related issues which will
be escalated to the concerned authorities immediately.

USAGE OF TERRACE
● Terrace will be made available for student activities and organising events
with proper safety measures.
EXTRA INITIATIVES
● More vending machines will be made available with time which will be
placed at PG labs and hostel P block. The new machines will have features
like dispensing Noodles and other stuff.

● Dry canteen hours will be extended.

● Will come up with a solution such that the canteen shops are open on
Sundays as well.
