SUBJECT: CONDUCT OF LAC SESSION RE: Upskilling Teachers in

Crafting Project Proposals for Innovations and Community-
based/Income Generating Projects

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 9155 also known as Governance of Basic Education
Act of 2001 states that “Governance of basic education shall begin at the national level. It is at
the regions, divisions, schools and learning centers — herein referred to as the field offices —
where the policy and principle for the governance of basic education shall be translated into
programs, projects and services developed, adapted and offered to fit local needs”. Moreover,
Division Memorandum No. DM-SGOD-2022-458 titled, “Guidelines in Crafting Proposals
for Innovations and Community-Based/Income Generating Projects” crafted and disseminated
the guidelines/templates for uniformity and consistency. This further strengthens the schools
to initiate school-based innovations and community-based/income generating projects that
focus on the improvement of the delivery of instruction, governance, and operations.

At the school level, Republic Act No. 9155 stressed on the offering of educational
programs, projects and services which provide equitable opportunities for all learners in the
community. In this connection, it is very vital to upskill teachers in crafting project proposals
for innovations, and community-based/income generating projects that will lead to quality
education. In accordance with these guidelines and foregoing statements, Piddig National
High School shall conduct the LAC session on the date, time and platform specified. The
Learning Action Cell (LAC) session on Upskilling Teachers in Crafting Project Proposals
for Innovations and Community-based/Income Generating Projects shall be conducted.
In this connection, all teachers are required to join in the said LAC Session on November
24,2022, 3:00-5:00 P.M. at the Pioneer Hall to be hosted by the Science and Araling
Panlipunan Departments under the leadership of Miss. Dinah B. Dumlao, Master Teacher
I/Top Leader.
