LETTER OF TENDER

Dear Sirs,
Having examined the Tender Enquiry Documents and Drawings (including other contract as built
information, etc.), Tender Addenda, etc. as issued (if any) for the execution of the above named Works,
we have understood and checked these documents and have ascertained that they contain no
omissions, errors or defects and we, the undersigned, offer to execute and complete the Works
and remedy any defects therein in conformity with the tender enquiry documents and our enclosed
proposal, for the lump sum of:

We acknowledge that the Appendix, the Schedules and the information submitted therewith forms part
of our tender.

We undertake, if our tender is accepted, to commence mobilization of the site establishment and site
investigation as soon as is reasonably practicable after the Commencement Date and to complete and
deliver the Works comprised in and in accordance with the Contract within the Time for Completion,
which period includes all Fridays, official and religious holidays, days of reduced working hours during
Ramadan and other non-working days including those of inclement weather.
If our tender is accepted we will provide the specified Performance Security to the value of 10% of
the Accepted Contract Amount, as stated in the Letter of Acceptance, for the due performance of the
Contract in accordance with these terms and the Conditions of Contract.
We agree to abide by this tender for a period of 180 Days from the date fixed for submission of same or
such further period of 90 Days and it shall remain binding upon us and may be accepted at any time
before the expiration of the said period(s).
If our tender is accepted we shall obtain and submit the insurances and performance security from the
entities and in accordance with and within the times stipulated by the conditions of Contract.
We understand that the Employer is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender.
We understood that the Employer has the right to accept one of the two tenders.
Unless and until a formal agreement is prepared and executed, this tender together with the
Employer’s Letter of Acceptance shall constitute a binding contract between us.

SCHEDULE 2 – QUESTIONNAIRE
Note: The signatory to this questionnaire guarantees the truth and accuracy of the statements made and
if awarded the contractor guarantees to supply staff, equipment and plants as stated herewith.
The Tenderer shall complete all parts of this Questionnaire. Responses shall be detailed and accurate.
Additional pages may be inserted as required.

3. What measures has the Tenderer taken to inspect the site of the works and obtain all relevant
and necessary site data?
4. Is the Tenderer satisfied as to availability of adequate labour (skilled and unskilled) and water
resources and locally obtained materials?
5. What arrangements does the Tenderer propose to make in respect of the repair and
maintenance of the plant detailed in the Schedule 3 hereafter?

the reasons for such location(s)?

6. Please attach copies of the company's previous three years' accounts (profit/loss,
assets/liabilities) and other financial data which you consider to be useful.

2. The Tenderer is to complete the following table for the Contractor’s Superintendence to be
assigned for the contract. All staff shall have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification
experience. Attach brief C.V. for each position.
3. If it is foreseen that any part of the works will be subcontracted state the type of work to be
undertaken by the subcontractor(s) and, if known, give the name and address of the
subcontractor(s) to be used and brief details of qualification and experience.
Details of up to three subcontractors may be provided for each subcontract.
4. Please indicate the specialized equipment and facilities considered by the company to be
necessary for undertaking the contract. Should it be considered that the Tenderer is not
adequately equipped or sufficiently specialized to carry out this contract, the Employer reserves
the right to reject the tender.

Information Related to Tenderers, to be true and factual and we acknowledge that if any of the given
information is subsequently found to be incorrect the Employer will have the right to reject our offer
with full reservation of its rights under contract, law or otherwise, without prior warning and that the
Employer will bear no responsibility for such action.
